The generator set enclosure is designed to provide optimal protection against environmental elements. Made from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel and finished with a durable powder coating, Fg Wilson enclosures deliver superior robustness and long-lasting durability. Fuel transfer connection points are conveniently located on the exterior, allowing easy access for fueling and maintenance while keeping thegenerator protected from external damage. Capable of withstanding a variety of onsite conditions, the 350 to 938 kVA range reliably ensures performance and resilience.

The enclosure’s roof joints are reinforced with lap joints sealed using butyl rubber, providing excellent water resistance even in extreme weather conditions. Its curved edges enhance structural rigidity and create a sleek, aesthetically pleasing appearance. The radiator is accessed via a flush-mounted rain cap with a compression seal, offering an additional safeguard against water ingress.

Doors are secured with rotation compression latches that ensure a flush, water-tight seal with the enclosure frame, preventing leaks. Sloped door seals, combined with purposefully designed grill cut outs, promote efficient water runoff and further protect against water entry during rain.

For convenient maintenance, the enclosure features side-hinged doors on each side, along with removable ducts that enable easy access for minor services or major overhauls without removing the entire enclosure. Control panels and Breakers are readily accessible through a rear door, simplifying troubleshooting and servicing.

Durable corner posts, crafted from high-grade composite materials, provide excellent protection against damage during handling and transport. These posts are UV stable, weather-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, supporting the enclosure’s overall durability and aesthetic appeal while ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
